Governor’s Park Dental Group is your Denver CEREC dentist for single-visit tooth restorations. Now you can have your crowns made in the office while you wait! Why go to the dentist for a second visit if you don't have to?
WHAT IS CEREC?
CEREC is the latest technology for restoring damaged teeth, and can be completed in a single visit to the doctor's office. It makes your teeth stronger and more beautiful, while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free, and the high-grade ceramic material is compatible with the natural tissue in your mouth.
THE CEREC PROCESS
During your appointment, we will discuss the details of the procedure and answer any questions you may have. Your doctor will then use a special 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using CEREC's proprietary software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's appropriate form and function. Then, CEREC will use diamond burs to create your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.
WHY CHOOSE CEREC?
• Cerec is clinically proven
• Cerec crowns are metal free
There are many advantages of using CEREC over traditional crown technology.
Time: CEREC crowns are made in one visit, saving you considerable time away from your job and family.
Comfort: With CEREC, there is no need for a temporary crown, eliminating significant potential discomfort.
Aesthetics: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of CEREC restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function, and closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure.
Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional method of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay beautiful for years!
CEREC crowns utilize state-of-the-art CAD-CAM technology. The CAD-CAM system uses precise computer-assisted measurements combined with 3-D imaging to provide the most accurate dimensions upon which to make your new crown.
Dental crowns are an excellent dental restoration because they provide a strong barrier around the entire visible tooth area. A crown encases your tooth like a suit-of-armor, making it resistant to breakage. The only problem with conventional crowns is that you have to make several appointments and wait weeks to get your new crowns. While you wait, you will have to wear a temporary crown while the permanent crown is being made in a dental laboratory. When you choose CEREC, you won't need a temporary crown.
Your new CEREC crowns are also stain resistant. That means you can be guaranteed a bright white smile for many years. Many conventional crowns contain metal, which makes them appear flat and opaque. CEREC crowns are made of high-grade dental ceramic, which is translucent and reflects light. That means your CEREC crowns will look completely natural, just like your original teeth!
